The CTEK MXS 25 is a switch mode charger with pulse maintenance and is one of a series of professional chargers from CTEK SWEDEN AB.
CTEK MXS 25 Battery Charger represents state-of-the-art technology within battery charging.
The MXS 25 can be used to charge a multiple of lead-acid batteries (Wet, MF,GEL and AGM) from 1.2Ah to 500Ah.
This Battery Charger is ideal for use in cars, caravans, motor homes, boats or any application battery of up to 500Ah.
The MXS 25 operates in a 8 step fully automatic cycle mode . It begins charging with an almost constant current (0.8 A or 3.6 A) until maximum voltage (14.4 V or 14.7 V) is reached.

*) Back current drain is what drains the battery if the charger is connected without the power cord connected.

**) Ripple denotes the amount of interference there is to the current and voltage. A high current ripple heats the battery and shortens its life. A linear charger has a current ripple of 70 - 400% which is much larger than the maximum 5% for a modern sealed battery. Voltage ripple could harm other equipment, which is connected to the battery. The MULTI XS 25000 delivers voltage and current with very low ripple. The battery gains a long service life and there is no risk of damage to other electronic devices connected to the battery.
