CTEK XS 0.8 12V Battery Charger

The CTEK XS 0.8 is a switch mode charger with pulse maintenance and is one of a series of professional chargers from CTEK SWEDEN AB. CTEK XS 0.8 represents state-of-the-art technology within battery charging.  XS 0.8 can be used to charge a multiple of lead-acid batteries (Wet, MF,GEL and AGM) from 1.2Ah to 32Ah.

The CTEK XS 0.8 Battery Charger is ideal for use charging 12V batteries up to 32Ah.

6 Step Charging Phases

1. Desulphation - Detects sulphated batteries. Pulses current and voltage to remove sulphation from the lead plates to restore battery capacity.
2. Bulk - Charging where 80% of the energy is returned. The charger delivers an almost constant current until the battery voltage reaches maximum level.
3. Absorption - Charging up to almost 100%. The charge current falls and the voltage is kept constant at the maximum level.
4. Analyse - Tests if battery can hold charge.
5. Float - (Fully Charged) Maintaining the battery voltage at a maximum level by providing a constant voltage charge.
6. Pulse - Maintenance phase, where the charger delivers a pulse if the battery voltage drops. Charging varies between 95% and 100%. The battery receives a pulse when the voltage reduces.

The charger can be connected for months keeping the battery in good condition when not in use.
